What is the production process for plastic tables and chairs?
What is the production process for plastic folding tables and chairs?
1.BLOW MOLD
How to make a HDPE folding table, the first step is blow molding.
The process of blow molding is not complicated. The plastic pellets are heated and then blown into a mold that is the shape of the product. The air pressure is increased in the mold, which forces the molten plastic to enter the shape of the mold. This kind of plastic we use is called high-density polyethylene (HDPE).
The production process starts with an idea. The idea is then turned into a sketch, then into a 3D model, and finally into the final product.
The advantages of blow mold include: lower production costs, faster production rates, Heavy duty quality.and a wider variety of product shapes.
Blow molding has many advantages over other methods of manufacturing plastic furniture.
Blow molding is a process that uses high-pressure air to inflate a hollow plastic shape until it becomes solid. The advantage of this technique is that it produces large volumes of product in a short amount of time.such as it takes 150 seconds for our one plastic tabletop.
2.METAL WORK
The process of metal works is a complex one. It requires different processing ,such as tube cutting, bending, punching, welding, polishing.
then it becomes a different frame for different sizes of table or chair.BTW,We Ai-cathlon now using the automatic welding machine robot to do it, it saves the labor cost to make sure our price is more competitive, also the welding part for a better aprerance
3.POWDER COATING
Powder coating is a type of paint that is applied by using an electrostatic process. The powder coating process can be used to apply two or more layers of different colors. Before Powder coating ,there is a extra processing called Phosphating surface treatment which provides excellent corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance, and it can be applied to a wide variety of surfaces.
Powder coating can be done in the open air or in a closed environment. It can be applied by hand or by machine.
Powder coating has many advantages over other forms of finishing such as painting or lacquering. It’s durable, resistant to chipping and scratching, and very smooth in texture which makes it resistant to dirt sticking or collecting on its surface.
4.Assembly
The assembly process for blow molded plastic tables and chairs is similar to that of metal tables and chairs.
Assembly begins by assembling the frame of the table or chair. Assembling the leg tubes and the plastic top requires screws and bolts and tightening them into place with a screwdriver and wrench.
5.PACKAGE
Packaging is the process of enclosing or protecting products for distribution, storage, sale, and use. Packaging can be described as a coordinated system of preparing goods for transport, warehousing, logistics, sale, and end use. Packaging contains, protects and conveys product information to the end user.
– Primary packaging: The first layer of packaging that is polybags which in direct contact with the product. It provides protection from dirt and other contaminants during shipping.
– Secondary packaging: The outermost layer of packaging that provides protection from damage during shipping or handling
We have different type of package:
–Single or Double Wall brown carton box(Suitable for wholesaler or distributor )
–Double Wall brown carton box+ polystyrene foam with thickness 1.5cm in 4 sides (Suitable for E-commerence importer )
